KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai says he welcomes a quadrilateral meeting held in Washington with delegations from the United States, Russia, China and the European Union.
“I welcome the meeting in Washington of the representatives of US, Russia, China and European Union on Afghanistan,” Karzai said on Saturday on Twitter.
He added that cooperation among global powers was most important for peace and stability in our country.
He hoped that the four parties help intra-Afghan talks that would lead to a durable peace in Afghanistan.
