KABUL: People in the tribal area of Waziristan have cut barbed-wire drawn by Pakistani army along the Durand Line which Islamabad recognizes as official border line with Afghanistan.
People in Waziristan say that only they and other Pashtoons living on the two sides of the line have the right to make decision whether recognize it as border line or not.
The Durand Line was drawn by the British imperial as a colonial line to divide people and keep their rule in the region by plotting geographical tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The line grants a grand area from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
