KABUL:At least 14 Taliban insurgents have been killed and three others wounded during an airstrikes conducted by the foreign forces in southern Helmand province, official said Sunday.
Resolute Support Mission (RSM) air forces targeted enemy’s hideout in Matkai area of Nadlai district at around 12:00pm local time on Saturday night, in which four militants were killed and one another wounded, said a press statement issued by Helmand Media Office.
The second strike targeted another stronghold in 911 highway area in Nahr-e-Saraj district, as a result 10 insurgents were killed and two others wounded, the statement added.
The statement said dead bodies of the enemy left in those areas pummeled during airstrikes.
