KABUL: Nimroz custom office has begun 24 hours’ operation to help and facilitate private sectors and traders. Ministry of Finance (MoF) in a statement said a delegation leading by head of customs office Reshad Popal has visited southern Nimroz province to put on practice the 24 hours’ operational trend in custom office.
Popal said the Nimroz custom office has started 24 hours’ operation to provide traders and private sectors more facility as well as to bolster up revenue collection, the statement added.
The delegation had also held talks with private sectors and traders in the province and they pledged to address their problems.
According to statement, the MoF delegation also met with Iranian custom officials and discussed issues of custom problems, prevention of smuggling of commercial goods through Gumshad way, stopping transit convoy of Afghanistan, exporting of fuel with low quality and the dealing equally with the process of Iranian and non-Iranian goods.
Statement underlined new chapter of custom services after functionalizing 24 hours’ operations that would create region and commercial interaction significantly high.
