KABUL: National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Sunday said its spy operatives in a fresh crackdown, have detained Taliban’s shadow district chief for Musa Qala district of southern Helmand province.
Intelligence Special Unit carried out a crackdown in the district that arrested Mullah Abdul Ghafor, the Taliban’s shadow district governor, the agency said in a statement.
Three rifles of AK-47, one pistol, 600kg explosives, tens of propagandistic papers, one wireless one vehicle and a motorbike discovered and seized from the arrested indict, underlined the statement.
