KABUL: Six Taliban mine planters were killed as their explosive devices went off prematurely in southern Paktia and northern Kunduz provinces, officials said on Monday.
Four Taliban mine planters were killed by own bomb blast while they were planting a roadside bomb in Andar region, Chamkani district of Paktia, Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
According to the statement, the killed mine planters were foreign citizens.
Similarly, two Taliban mine planters were killed and three others wounded by own explosives while they were planting a landmine in Haji Mehrab village, Ali Abad district of Kunduz province on Sunday night, the ministry has added in a statement.
