AT-KABUL: Members of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) on Wednesday called on the former President Hamid Karzai, discussing different issues including economic improvement in Afghanistan.
The ACCI chief, Khan Jan Alokozai, applauded Karzai for his wise leadership and diligent struggles in different sectors during the past 13 years, particularly in attracting the attention of national and international investors to invest in Afghanistan and providing better ground for investment in different fields.
Alokozai said that the ex-president’s support is needed for investors and businessmen in Afghanistan.
“The achievements and prides that Karzai had garnered for Afghanistan during his tenure will be written in golden lines in Afghanistan’s history,” he told Karzai.
Hamid Karzai thanked the ACCI members, and said that in fact successes and achievements of the past 13 years are belonging to the people of Afghanistan. “The credit for our achievements and prides in trade and investment goes to the national investors,” Karzai added.
