KABUL: Afghan Counter Narcotics Police (CNP) has torched 80 tons of drugs during anti-narcotics crackdown conducted in southern Ghazni province on Sunday night, official said Monday.
Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police backed by Afghan Air Force (AAF) conducted an overnight joint operation in Zawij and Shah Gul Khil villages in Deh Yak district of Ghazni, in which they destroyed and torched a huge drugs cache contained 80 tons of illicit drugs, said Ministry of Interior in a statement.
Statement said that CNP is committed to fight against narcotics and it has gain major success in this regard.
