KABUL: Ministry of Public Health on Saturday said it has recorded 349 new positive cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally to 6,402 in Afghanistan.
Health Ministry said that out of 1,113 samples, 349 were tested positive within this period.
126 cases were recorded in Kabul, 29 in Herat, 10 in Kandahar, 31 in Balkh, 56 in Paktia, 37 in Nangarhar, five in Badghis, 10 in Logar, 11 in Baghlan, eight in Laghman, seven in Takhar, three in Kunduz, five in Jawzjan, eight in Sar-e-Pul and one case each in Pajshir, Bamyan and Maidan Wardak provinces.
Moreover, 33 patients had recovered while 15 were died during this period, according to health ministry.
The totally recovery has reached to 778 and the dead to 168.
