KABUL: The Highways and streets have remained closed for traffic in central Panjshir after a fatal flood flowed across the province, following a heavy rain. The rain was going on all Sunday night, residents said. Tens of villages were damaged by the flood and inflected huge financial losses on the villagers.
Panjshir Governor, Mohammad Amin Sadiqqi said that there was no detail about human casualties based on initial informations. According to him, the blockage of highway and streets has created challenges for the residents.
He said that the officials were trying to reopen the highways and streets for the residents to pave the ground for donation and assistance.
