KABUL: The government says that 10 people suspected for drug trafficking were arrested in Kabul under the new security program.
Two police officers suspected for cooperating with the drug traders were also arrested on Tuesday with 22 kilogram narcotics seized.
The government said in a statement that 246,600 Euros, 54,700 dollars, 2,400 pounds and 52,000 Afs were seized in the traffickers’ hideout.
15 fake passports were also seized, according to the statement.
It said that people helped police in identifying of 200 criminals.
