KABUL- A traffic accident took the lives of at least three passengers on Monday on Kabul-Parwan highway, officials said.
Three other passengers were injured in the accident which took place Monday morning on the busy highway of Kabul-Parwan that connects capital Kabul to the north of the country.
The injured persons were already evacuated to the hospital by the security officials and are under treatment.
Traffic department officials investigating the accident for further legal actions.
Narrowness of the roads, poor infrastructures of the highways, careless driving and technical faults of the vehicles are annually causing thousands of such heartbreaking accidents on the highways of the country.
The deadly incidents also have roots in no or low control of the traffic officials on the highways.
