KABUL: First Vice President Amrullah Saleh has warned to confiscate all the vehicles without documents, arguing that such vehicles make problems for detecting criminals.
“Pay your taxes and legalize your cars, or your cars will be at police service,” Saleh wrote on Facebook Sunday.
He called it an emergency initiative, calling for people’s cooperation in detaining the lawless.
He is now responsible of coordination between security forces under President Ghani’s order to control crimes in Kabul city.
Situation in the capital city has unprecedentedly deteriorated with armed men looting and even killing or injuring people overnight just for mobile phones or money. Tens of innocent people have lost their lives for refusing to give their mobile phones or money to criminals.
Nangarhar, Balkh and Herat are safe havens for criminals after Kabul.
