KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai, strongly condemned a “terrorist attack” that targeted the Kawsar-e-Danesh educational center in Kabul in which tens of young students were martyred and injured.

At least 24 people were killed and 57 more wounded in the suicide attack in Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood in Police District 13.

Karzai expressed deepest concerns about the increasing of violence and casualties in Afghanistan, calling on the Afghan parties of the war to abandon violence and make efforts for the success of peace.

The former president wished paradise for the dead and swift recovery for the wounded.
