KABUL: At least five civilians were killed in two mine blasts in southern Maidan Wardak province.
Four civilians were killed, after their car, they were travelling in, was blown up by a militant planted roadside bomb in Jalriz district on Sunday night, the Governor Press Office said on Monday.
According to the statement, all the killed people were men.
In another incident, a Mazda-model driver was killed after his car was hit by a roadside mine blast planted by insurgents in Khosa area of Chak district on Monday morning, the statement added.
