KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai strongly condemned an air strike in Kandahar province that killed and wounded civilians.
The attack took place in the Arghandab district and seven members of a family are among other civilians killed including children.
The former president believes that only successful peace talks can save Afghanistan and Afghans from the current war, calling on the Afghan sides of war to accelerate peace efforts to prevent foreign interferences in their homeland.
Karzai wished paradise for the dead and speedy recovery for the wounded.
