KABUL: Afghanistan has recorded 211 new coronavirus infections with four fatalities in the past 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry said on Monday.

With 211 new positive cases, the total tally has been reached to 49,484 around the country since the outbreak of the epidemic started nearly one year ago.

These cases come positive out of 1,442 suspected samples in the past 24 hours, and 26 other patients have fully recovered in the same period of time. The total recoveries exceeded to 38,410 and the deaths to 1,975.
