KABUL: NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg held talks with the U.S. President, Joe Biden to discuss the global challenges, including countering the terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“They discussed the range of challenges that NATO Allies face, such as countering international terrorism, including in Afghanistan and Iraq, dealing with a more assertive Russia,” NATO said in a statement.
The talks regarding Afghanistan between the U.S. president and NATO Secretary General comes as the U.S. new administration announced that it would review its deal signed with the Taliban last February, laying out American troops withdrawal from Afghanistan.
President Ashraf Ghani said earlier that a new era of vibes begin between Afghanistan and the United States.
