KABUL: Terrorists set an institute building on fire in eastern Nangarhar province Monday night, officials said.
“An institute named ‘Peace and Freedom’ has been set ablaze by the enemies of education and development in Momandara district of Nangarhar last night,” said a statement issued by the Nangarhar Press Desk.
The statement said that two rooms and equipments of the institute have been torched.
The officials had controlled the fire in order to prevent further loses.
The institute was a business institute.
It is pertained to mention that the enemy of Afghan people often set fire to schools, particularly girls’ school in different provinces in the past in order to keep the Afghan young generation in darkness.
