GHAZNI: Seven members of a family were killed on Monday when the vehicle they were travelling in struck a roadside bomb in the Andar district of southern Ghazni province, an official said.
The bombing took place in Alizo locality at around 5:30pm, the governor’s spokesman, Shafique Nang, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The family was traveling in a car when it struck a roadside bomb, he said, adding the dead included three children, as many women and a man.
The official blamed the Taliban for planting the improvised explosive device, but the insurgents have not yet spoken about the incident. (PAN)
