AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday said that a Taliban commander was arrested in an operation in Kabul.
In a press statement issued here, the spy agency said that its agents succeeded in arresting the most dreaded insurgent commander, Hamidullah, in the 5th district of Kabul.
The arrested Taliban leader was involved in different terror activities in Ghazni, Paktika and Kabul provinces. Hamidullah was sent to Kabul for assassination of foreign citizens, the statement said.
The arrested Taliban commander confessed that he was involved in multiple terrorist activities.
