KABUL: At least six people have lost their lives in different security incidents in Kabul, a capital city in which insecurity is on the rise spectacularly.
The victims are two civilians and four security force members that were killed in the past 24 hours.
A government employee, Baryalai Tokhi, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Rishkor area in PD 7 of Kabul city on Friday evening, a source said.
Kabul police have confirmed the incident involving shooting, saying an investigation has been launched into the incident.
In another incident, Rafi Osmani, a lecturer at Peshgam Higher Education Institute, was targeted again by unknown armed men in PD 4th on Saturday morning. He was shot dead while he was headed to the university.
Another attack conducted again by armed men has left four security force members dead. Unknown gunmen attacked security forces in Panja Chinar area in Kabul’s Paghman district on Saturday morning.
Kabul Police have launched an investigation on all of the incidents.
