KABUL: The Afghan security forces busted a gang of armed robbers in Kabul city and arrested four people, security authorities said Wednesday.
They were detained from Bagh-e-Rais area, in PD 7th in Kabul city, Kabul Police Press Disk said in a statement.
According to the statement, the captured suspects were involved in armed robbery, looting mobiles and jewelry of the citizens in the respective area.
They were under chase by the police that finally succeeded in sending them behind bars, the statement added.
One pistol was discovered and seized from the captured robbers and the case is under further inquiry, the statement added.
