Police arrest 10 over criminal charges in Kabul

KABUL: 10 people were arrested in Kabul for involvement in criminal offences in latest crackdowns conducted by the Afghan National Police members in Kabul, the capital city in the past 24 hours. The suspects are convicted to murder, robbery, looting of citizens’ mobile phones, and carrying illegal arms in 8th, 10th, 13th, 17th and 18th PDs of Kabul city, the Kabul Police Press Desk said in a statement on Sunday. Two pistols were also discovered and confiscated from them, the statement added. According to the statement, their cases have been referred to the judicial organs for further inquiry and proceeding.
