KABUL: A high-powered Saudi Arabia delegation has arrived in Kabul on an official visit to discuss a range of issues with Afghan authorities, a statement from Presidential Palace said on Tuesday.
The Saudi delegation included officials from the Interior, Foreign Affairs, Human Resource, Works and Labor affairs Ministries.
The officials held a detailed meeting with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani this afternoon, the statement said, adding that the Saudi officials came to Kabul on president’s invitation.
They briefed the president about talks they held with their Afghan counter parts. The Saudi delegation addressed the technical issues in visa process for Afghan workers in Saudi Arabia, the statement said.
They promised to convey the technical problems existing in the visa process for Afghan workers. (PAN)
