KABUL: At least five people were injured after a powerful magnetic bomb went off near a school in Kabul city.
Interior Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khosti said nobody sustained injuries in the blast, but eyewitnesses say at least 5 people were seen injured in the scene.
The blast took place near Habibia high school building in 7th district.
Another source said the blast resulted from explosion of a roadside bomb.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
Since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan in mid-August, attacks by ISIL-affiliated terrorists against them have increased.
The rise in terrorist attacks has raised the possibility of a wider conflict between the two groups. Reports also said there was a nightlong fighting between Taliban and Daesh forces in Nangarhar city. Sources said a group of ISIS terrorists who were harbored in a civilian house were raided by Taliban security forces in a fight that last since Monday evening.
