AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: President Ashraf Ghani would leave for Iran today (Sunday) on two-day official visit and will discuss issues of mutual interest with Iranian authorities.
Tasnim News Agency reported on Saturday that accepting Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s invitation Ashraf Ghani is due in Tehran on Sunday.
Ghani will head a delegation comprised of a number of high-ranking officials and ministers including Finance Minister Eklil Ahmad Hakimi, Mines and Petroleum Minister Daud Saba, Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani and Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi.
According to sources, Afghan dignitaries would emphasize on improvement of economic ties and issues faced by the Afghan refugees living in Iran. The Afghan president would try to convince Tehran to give more incentives to Afghan traders.
