Kabul: The Central Bank of Afghanistan announced that in continuation of the international community’s humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, another cash shipment of 40 million dollars arrived in Kabul and was delivered to one of the Afghan commercial banks.
In an announcement, the Central Bank of Afghanistan, while expressing gratitude and appreciation for the help of the international community, asked them to interact and cooperate in the banking sector and improve the field of banking relations with Afghanistan.
According to Central Bank statistics, the total amount of cash aid from the international community has increased to more than one billion and 273 million dollars after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.
After the Taliban came to power, Afghanistan’s foreign assets were blocked and the country’s access to international banks was blocked, which has caused the collapse of the Afghan economy.
