Kabul: Three persons sustained injury as a blast struck a mini bus in capital Kabul on Saturday, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said.
“An explosive device planted in a vase alongside the road struck a mini bus in Diwan Bigi area of Police District 5 today and preliminary reports indicate that three persons were slightly injured,” Zadran tweeted.
Efforts are being made to locate and bring to justice those people behind the crime, the official noted without providing more details.
According to local sources the explosion hit the bus carrying employees of Ministry of Higher Education.
During the past week, including today, five explosions have occurred in different parts of Kabul.
