Kabul: Former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai offered his condolences in regards to demise of a prominent Afghan poet, writer and artist, Ustad Abdul Qayyum Naseh.
Mr Abdul Qayyum Naseh worked as a teacher and principal in Ahmad Shah Baba, Zahirshahi and mechanical schools in Kandahar province and wrote prose and poetry in Pashto and Dari languages, a pen divan is a memorial to him.
Former president acknowledged his academic endeavors and said that his services are appreciated and his death is a loss.
“I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends and wish his family of strength and patience” former president added.
