Kabul: A 4.3 magnitude quake shook southeastern Afghanistan on Friday evening at 11: 12 AM, according to India seismic recording agency.
The National Center of Seismology of India has announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale and a depth of 10 km from the surface of the earth, centered in the city of Trinkot, Uruzgan province, has shaken parts of the country.
Shaking was felt by witnesses in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Afghanistan is in an earthquake-prone region and a 5.9 magnitude tremor in the east of the country killed over 1,000 people in June.
