Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, had an introductory meeting with Mr. Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the special representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Afghanistan and the new ambassador of that country in Kabul.
In this meeting, Hamid Karzai thanked Mr. Bahadur Aminian, the former ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Former president, in addition to talking and exchanging opinions about the good and fraternal relations between the two countries, he considered education and higher education vital for the development of the nations, and emphasis on providing education for the children of Afghanistan.
While expressing his gratitude for Iran’s cooperation with the people of Afghanistan, the former president welcomed and expressed his appreciation for Iran’s announcement establishing education opportunities for Afghan girls.
