Kabul: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Afghanistan yesterday tweeted that the temperature will reached -35°C in parts of Afghanistan at the end of this week.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan has said that aid agencies are providing services, but Taliban’s ban on women’s work has severely affected aid distribution.
Donors are providing winter support, including cash distribution for winter fuel and warm clothes to families, OCHA said.
According to this organization, Afghanistan is on the brink of a humanitarian crisis, and 28.3 million people will need humanitarian aid in 2023.
