Kabul: The Afghanistan Ministry of Urban Development says that the process of distributing residential land in the New City of Kabul will begin.
“In order to implement scientific and technical experience and achievements, the plan and design of the new Kabul project have been reviewed and its detailed plan has been revised according to the master plan,” said Madar Ali Karimi Bamyani, deputy minister of the Ministry of Urban Development.
Meanwhile, the acting minister of this ministry said that 15 to 20 percent of buildings in Kabul city are built without standards, Tolo news reported.
“15 to 20 percent of houses are built without standards, and we had a discussion on this issue with the Kabul Municipality,” said acting Minister of Urban Development.
The acting Minister of Urban Development added that a Qatar-backed construction project in the Khushal Khan area has progressed by 30 percent and a China-backed project in the Darulaman area has progressed by 20 percent.
“There was a project in the Khushal Khan area with a Qatari company in 1401 that has progressed by 30 percent,” said Nomani.
According to information from the Urban and Development Ministry, a Chinese company is going to invest more than two hundred million dollars in Afghanistan.
