Kabul: The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid in Afghanistan (OCHA) has announced that the continued deprivation of education for girls in Afghanistan will bring many challenges for girls.
In a Twitter message, OCHA emphasized the need to educate women and girls in Afghanistan.
OCHA says, if girls cannot access education or are limited in their educational path; their ability to access healthcare, public services, employment and economic opportunities will be severely impacted
The students also says that the Taliban should open the schools, they have already promised to open the schools several times, but no action has been taken in this regard.
Women’s rights activists also say that women’s deprivation of education and work increases the challenges in the country, because women are the strong foundations of a country and should be allowed to study.
This is despite the fact that the international community urging authorities in Afghanistan to open schools and universities for girls since two years ago, but this has continuously rejected by calling it an internal issue of Afghanistan.
