Kabul: Media outlet in Herat province have reported that an exhibition of women’s products and handicrafts held in this province for two days.
According to reports, this exhibition was held with the aim of marketing women’s products and handicrafts with participation of 120 women.
These women have displayed and sold their handicrafts, which include clothes, carpets, rugs, sweets, pickles, ornaments and other craft work.
Meanwhile, officials in the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Western Zone of Afghanistan have said that this is the sixth exhibition that has been held in the past year with the aim of marketing women’s handicrafts in this province.
It should be noted that this exhibition is being held while the ruling body has imposed series of restrictions on women in the field of education and work since taking control of Afghanistan.
