AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A group of terrorists was busted when they were busy in making bombs during in western Herat province, said a statement by the National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Wednesday.
The statement said the terrorists were held on the spot when they were busy in making bombs in water gallons, magnetic bombs and other improvised explosives devices (IEDs).
According to the statement, the suspects were held during a raid by the NDS operatives. Large amount of explosive devices including three landmines, four hand-grenades, 16 electronic capsules, three remote controls, eight mobile phones used for explosives’ detonation, 10 strong magnets, a GPS, four batteries (each nine volts), five meter electric line, a computer, a pistol, a motorcycle, 29 pages guiding manual for making IEDs and militants’ propaganda documents, the statement added.
The statement also said that the terror group was planning to stage a series of attacks in Herat city.
