KABUL – The Taliban have resumed house-to-house searches in parts of Kabul, including police districts 4, 11, and 17, sources told Amu on Tuesday. According to Naseer Ahmad Ahmadi, the Taliban’s police chief for District 11, the searches are aimed at identifying individuals affiliated with Daesh, the resistance front, or those involved in criminal activities.
Inspections were reported in the 315 neighborhood of northern Kabul, though the Taliban have yet to officially comment on the operations. Similar searches have taken place in Kabul and other cities in recent months.
