AT-KABUL: At least four people were killed and 13 others injured on Thursday in a road accident in Daikundi province.
District Chief of Shahristan district of the province said the accident took place around 9:00 am and claimed lives of four people including two women.
Mohammad Ibrahim Akbari said the accident happened when driver of the passenger couch lost control over the vehicle. Health condition of the seven injured passengers was stated as ‘critical’.
Meanwhile, six would-be suicide bombers killed in Nimroz when their explosive-packed vests exploded prematurely.
Speaking to Pajhwok, a local news agency, Police Chief Mohammad Qasim Jangal Bagh said the would-be bombers planned to carry out terror attacks in Zaranj, the provincial capital. The bombers were killed in Rod Bar area of Chahar Boluk district of the province.
