AT-KABUL: Pakistani army’s military operation in Baluchistan province have forced many foreign militants to escape to Afghanistan, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
While talking to Radio Azadi, Seddiq Seddiqi, said that they will strengthen border police to prevent from influx of foreign militants to Afghanistan. “The problem is the fighters are dislodged in military operations there while their top leadership still remains there,” he said.
“The ongoing crackdown of Pakistan’s army in Baluchistan has created many problems for us. A number of foreign militants have escaped to Afghanistan, who took part in fighting against security forces in Kunduz and other parts of the country,” he added.
According to reports some Taliban militants have switched their white flag to black after sneaking to Afghanistan from the other side of the Durand Line. However, Seddiqi said that elimination of terrorist groups with any façade is in the interest of the people of Afghanistan.
Reports recently surfaced that Kabul and Islamabad are mulling to conduct simultaneous crackdowns on militants in order to prevent from their movement.
