AT-KABUL: At least 43 armed Taliban fighters were killed and 25 others were wounded in different crackdowns within past 24 hours.
In a press release issued here, Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that Afghan National Police (ANP) in collaboration with Afghan National Army (ANA) and National Directorate of Security (NDS) has conducted clearance operations against insurgents in different areas of Kunduz, Faryab, Uruzgan, Nuristan, Ghazni and Helmand provinces. In these operations 43 rebels were killed and 25 others injured.
ANP recovered huge cache of weapons and ammunition in the operations as well, the ministry claimed.
