AT-KABUL: Ex-President Hamid Karzai felicitated Afghanistan’s national cricket team on its victory against Papua New Guinea to qualify to World T20 cup.

Hamid Karzai termed the victory as a great achievement. He also hailed the capabilities of Afghan athletes.

Karzai hoped that Afghan cricket player will bring good name to Afghanistan in T20 world cup.

Afghanistan overcame Papua New Guinea by six wickets to qualify for its fourth consecutive ICC World Twenty20 tournament on Thursday.
