AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday said that a terror bid was foiled in Logar province.
In a press statement issued here, the NDS said that its operatives discovered unexploded suicide vests and assault rifles that were planned to be used in terror attacks on government installations.
The discovered weapons include two suicide vests, one RPG rocket, a PK machinegun and two AK-47 assault rifles. The weapons belonged to the deserted Taliban commander, Mohammad Ali Emiraty, who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, added the statement.
