AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A policeman opened fire on his colleagues in Greshk district of southern Helmand province, killing six of them, official said on Monday.
A local official said on condition of anonymity that a policeman gunned down his six colleagues in Naqilo village late Sunday night.
According to Afghan Pajhwok News, the attacker had reportedly link with militants who fled with all the weapons and ammunition after the incident.
Helmand security officials have not commented on the incident so far.
A Taliban spokesman, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi claimed responsibility for the attack and said that one of their friends last night killed six policemen in Adam Khan village.
He also claimed that the attacker took all the weapons of the killed policemen with him.
