AT-KABUL: Two people were injured as an official at the Nangarhar Police Headquarters on Saturday survived a roadside bomb attack in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province.
The governor’s spokesman, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, said that the bomb hit the pick-up of Abdul Mohammad Kamawal, an official at the police headquarter close to the provincial council office in Jalalabad at around 11am, however, he survived but his security guard and driver sustained injuries.
Abdul Muhammad Kamawal, confirmed the incident and said that civilians did not suffer casualties, but his driver has suffered serious injuries.
A man named Hamid introduced himself as Daesh spokesman took the responsibility.
