AT-KABUL: Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao and his accompanying delegation called on ex-President Hamid Karzai at his office on Tuesday.
Hamid Karzai appreciated China’s support for Afghanistan over the past 13 years. He termed relations between the two countries as time-tested. Karzai and Yuanchao stressed on expansion of relations between the two countries.
The two leaders also discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and the region. They also shed light on the peace process of Afghanistan.
It is worth mentioning that Hamid Karzai also attended the 60th anniversary of Afghanistan and China friendship at the Presidential Palace.
