AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: At least three militants were killed while planting a landmine in Noorgal district of eastern Kunar province.
In a media statement issued here, Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that the landmine went off when the insurgents were planting it in Panjshir Naw area of Noorgal district. The ministry said the insurgents were killed on the spot.
According to the press release no civilian casualty was reported. The militants mostly plant bombs at hours when none can see them.
The ministry also claimed destroying communication system of the Taliban and recovered weapons and explosives form a warehouse owned by the militant group
