KABUL: A member of Afghan security forces was killed and three others received injuries after a roadside mine struck their vehicle and went off in Paghman district of Kabul on Sunday morning.

Confirming the incident, Kabul police said that an IED blast hit a Ranger vehicle in Qagha area of Paghman district at around 8:40am today, in which one security forces member was killed and three others were wounded.

The Taliban group claimed responsibility for the attack.
