KABUL: Police in northern Takhar province said Monday they have detained a would-be suicide bomber before to reach its target in Rustaq district.
The bomber who planned to launch a suicide attack in Rustaq district was identified and apprehended by Afghan National Police (ANP) before to reach his nefarious design, Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
ANP in a timely action have succeeded to capture the suicide bomber and prevented bloody incident in Rustaq district that could likely cause into killing and wounding of a number of innocent people.
