AT-KABUL: Former head of the intelligence agency has said that the chief executive Abdullah Abdullah will not work for the so-called ‘National Unity Government’ as he used to in the past two years.
“Abdullah will talk to the president in three rounds,” Amrullah Saleh, who is supporting Abdullah, said, adding that the chief executive would share his demands with President Ashraf Ghani in the first round, in the second, the president would answer him, while Abdullah would choose how to continue working in the government.
Though it is not clear how would he work, but Abdullah is seeking the position of prime minister as mentioned in the political deal the two individuals agreed on in 2014.
Meanwhile, deputy chief executive Mohammad Mohaqqeq believes the differences between the president and chief executive still continue.
“This would impact negatively on the situation of the country,” Mohaqqeq has told the UN representative for the refugees.
